For the Love of Travel & short "hippie trips"
Years ago, when my boys were little and I was a single mom, we wanted to go on vacation but didn't have the money for BIG trips like Rome or Disney. So, I managed to buy an old 1978 motorhome and a 1971 VW Bug to pull behind it. We would take "hippie trips" to small towns 1-2 hours away. We'd go to any museum or park there. Visit any of their attractions. Learn the history of their beautiful little community. Spend the weekend, then come home. Camping was so much cheaper, and as a single mom, it brought our tiny family closer together. The Hippie Trip FB page was created because of those short but memorable vacations.
